1.  No Pets: Trained service animals are welcome!  Otherwise, we have a strict "no pets" policy.  We can help arrange lodging for your pets (as long as they are up to date on shot records which must be provided) at a local boarding facility during your stay, if you'd like; just give us a call...way in advance, as they fill up fast!

2.  Septic System:The house, like 99% of all lake homes on Lake Gaston, uses a septic system.  This system is a finely balanced biological system.  Please help us keep it working flawlessly by flushing ONLY toilet paper.  Renters are responsible for any damage caused by misuse.

3.  Navigating Lake Gaston: Bow-Riders and deep draft Wake Board boats need to check their Hummingbirds to ensure adequate depth in all coves.  Pontoons should have no issues. Guests can park on the pontoon lift if they have a pontoon boat, use the covered open slip, or tie up to the side of the dock.

4.  Culverts & Bridges:  Be sure to lower your Bimini top when going under bridges or through culverts.  Appearances can be deceiving!

Dock: Water depth is approximately 8' on left side front; 10' on right side front.  Guests can park on the pontoon lift if they have a pontoon boat, use the covered open slip, or tie up to the side of the dock.

Bathrooms are stocked with courtesy soaps and shampoos designed for quick "off the shelf" use.

Linens Provided:  Linens are charged as a separate fee at checkout and will be available at the home, safety-sealed, at the foot of each bed.  

Towels Provided:   Each guest is provided bath towel and a washcloth as part of the linen package. Guests will find their bath towels folded on each bed. NOTE: We do not provide beach towels or dock towels!

Check-in 4pm | Check-out: 10am 
Arriving before check-in time or departing after check-out time without prior approval will result in a fee.
**Early check-in and late check-out are usually available during the off season for a fee. By purchasing these options you will be able to enter or exit the property at 1:00pm. 
***Early check-in and late check-out are often NOT available from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend***

Age Requirement: A minimum age requirement for the responsible party bookiing the reservation is 25 years old.  The responsible party must be on the premises at all times and may not book on behalf of another guest.

No Large Events or Parties
This home is intended to be used as a vacation spot for small groups ONLY. Any evidence of excessive or disrespectful use of the property will result in eviction and forfeiture of the security deposit. If you would like to hold a small birthday party, or small event at the property, please speak to management before booking and request approval. No events will be allowed that exceed the maximum capacity of the home. 

No Pets
With the execption of service animals, no pets are permitted at the property for any reason. 

No Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. 

Cancellation Policy
Reservations cancelled up to 30 days before arrival will receive 100% refund. Reservations cancelled between 14-29 days before arrival will receive a 50% refund. Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable. All Cancellations minus a $50 administration fee.
