Step outside, and you’ll find the lake life you’ve been dreaming of. A concrete path leads directly to the boat dock, making it easy for everyone to access the lake’s sparkling depths. The property’s waterfront lot features deep water—about 10 feet—perfect for swimming, fishing, or simply soaking in the serene beauty of Lake Gaston. Enjoy the water with our complimentary kayaks and paddle boards, perfect for a relaxing paddle or an adventurous exploration of the lake! The private dock features a convenient ladder for easy access to the water and multiple floats for guests to relax and enjoy. For added comfort, the dock is equipped with a TV and Wi-Fi, allowing you to unwind with your favorite shows or stay connected while soaking up the views.   As the day winds down, gather around the outdoor fire pit for s'mores and storytelling under the stars, or take advantage of the large paved driveway for a friendly game of pickleball or corn hole with the provided equipment.

The house next door is also part of our rental program, providing the ideal solution for accommodating multiple families or groups of friends who want to vacation together while enjoying their own private spaces. To get you started...

• Bathrooms: Bathrooms are stocked with courtesy hair dryers, travel-size soaps and shampoos designed for quick "off the shelf" use.   Each bathroom has a roll of septic-friendly toilet tissue as a starter. You are encouraged to bring whatever you feel you might need beyond the courtesy items provided.
• Kitchen Items:  Kitchen is stocked with 1 roll of paper towels, a couple trash bags for the kitchen trashcan, travel-size dish soap, a couple dishwasher pods. We do not provide condiments. You are encouraged to bring whatever you feel you might need beyond the courtesy items provided.
• Linens Provided:  Linens & towels are charged as a separate fee at checkout and will be available at the home, safety-sealed, at the foot of each bed. Each guest is provided bath towel and a washcloth as part of the linen package. Guests will find their bath towels folded on each bed. NOTE: We do not provide beach towels or dock towels!

A few more tid-bits...  :)

• Septic System:  The house, like 99% of all lake homes on Lake Gaston, uses a septic system.  This system is a finely balanced biological system.  Please help us keep it working flawlessly by flushing ONLY toilet paper.  Renters are responsible for any damage caused by misuse.
• Navigating the Lake: Bow-Riders and deep draft Wake Board boats need to check their Hummingbirds to ensure adequate depth in all coves.  Pontoons should have no issues and everyone is welcome to tie off at the dock with rental boat.(make sure to bring your bumpers!). Be sure to lower your bimini top when going under bridges or through culverts.  Appearances can be deceiving!

Security Camera Disclosure:  We take your privacy very seriously.  However, this home is monitored by exterior security cameras.  The cameras do not record sound.

No Smoking: Absolutely no smoking on the property.  This is a heavily wooded area with lots of things that can catch fire.  If there is ANY evidence of smoking, you will be asked to leave and will not receive a refund.  Please keep vaping to oustide only; no vaping inside the home.

• Trash:  Trash day is Tuesday.  Please bag all trash and place it in the outdoor receptacles for pickup. We also provide concierge trash service, which means that if you have an overflow issue during your stay, we will pick-up the excess trash! Just give us a call or text.
• Parking:  There is plenty of parking to accomodate a maximum capacity of 10 people
• Life Jackets: Guests are asked to bring their own life jackets to ensure safety and proper fit for everyone.
• Boathouse: Quick note here for our boaters...the lifts are NOT available, but you can tie off at the dock.  Water depth at the end of the dock is approximately 10 ft. deep.

No Large Events or Parties
This home is intended to be used as a vacation spot for small groups ONLY. Any evidence of excessive or disrespectful use of the property will result in eviction and forfeiture of the security deposit. If you would like to hold a small birthday party, or small event at the property, please speak to management before booking and request approval. No events will be allowed that exceed the maximum capacity of the home. 

No Pets
With the execption of service animals, no pets are permitted at the property for any reason. 

No Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. 

Cancellation Policy
Reservations cancelled up to 30 days before arrival will receive 100% refund. Reservations cancelled between 14-29 days before arrival will receive a 50% refund. Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable. All Cancellations minus a $50 administration fee.
