Inside, the home features a bright, open-concept layout with expansive windows that frame panoramic views of Lake Gaston. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for gathering, complete with ample seating and everything needed to prepare meals for your group. After a day on the water, unwind indoors with a pool table, board games, a Nintendo Classic, and an Arcade1Up Galaga machine—entertainment for all ages.

Step outside and enjoy the outdoor living spaces that make Sunset Escape truly special. Spend evenings around the fire pit, grill out with friends, or dine lakeside in the covered patio and outdoor eating area. The private dock provides approximately 8 feet of water depth, ideal for swimming, floating, and lake activities. Guests can explore Lake Gaston using the provided two adult kayaks and two kid kayaks, or simply lounge dockside and soak in the peaceful waterfront setting.

To get you started...
Bathrooms: Bathrooms are stocked with courtesy hair dryers, travel-size soaps and shampoos designed for quick "off the shelf" use.   Each bathroom has a roll of septic-friendly toilet tissue as a starter. You are encouraged to bring whatever you feel you might need beyond the courtesy items provided.

Kitchen Items:  Kitchen is stocked with 1 roll of paper towels, a couple trash bags for the kitchen trashcan, travel-size dish soap, a couple dishwasher pods. We do not provide condiments. You are encouraged to bring whatever you feel you might need beyond the courtesy items provided.

Linens Provided:  Linens & towels are charged as a separate fee and will be available at the home, safety-sealed, at the foot of each bed. Each guest is provided bath towel and a washcloth as part of the linen package. Guests will find their bath towels folded on each bed. NOTE: We do not provide beach towels or dock towels!

Septic System:  The house, like 99% of all lake homes on Lake Gaston, uses a septic system.  This system is a finely balanced biological system.  Please help us keep it working flawlessly by flushing ONLY toilet paper.  Renters are responsible for any damage caused by misuse.

Navigating the Lake: Bow-Riders and deep draft Wake Board boats need to check their Hummingbirds to ensure adequate depth in all coves.  Pontoons should have no issues and everyone is welcome to tie off at the dock with rental boat.(make sure to bring your bumpers!). Be sure to lower your bimini top when going under bridges or through culverts.  Appearances can be deceiving!

**Early check-in and late check-out are usually available during the off season for a fee. By purchasing these options you will be able to enter or exit the property at 1:00pm. 
***Early check-in and late check-out are often not available from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend***

No Large Events or Parties
This home is intended to be used as a vacation spot for small groups only. Any evidence of excessive or disrespectful use of the property will result in eviction and forfeiture of the security deposit. If you would like to hold a small birthday party, or small event at the property, please speak to management before booking and request approval. No events will be allowed that exceed the maximum capacity of the home. 

No Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. 

Cancellation Policy
Reservations cancelled up to 30 days before arrival will receive 100% refund. Reservations cancelled between 14-29 days before arrival will receive a 50% refund. Reservations cancelled within 14 days of arrival are non-refundable. All Cancellations minus a $50 administration fee.
